All our physiotherapists and complementary care therapists are experienced in treating neck and back problems as well as having backgrounds in managing elite sports men and women including Olympic swimmers, divers, tri-athletes, runners and gymnasts. Many have also travelled with professional football, cricket, rugby, hockey and netball teams. Therapists have also worked with clients from the performing arts including theatre, ballet and musicians. We offer specialised screening for Swimmers, Waterpolo players, Runners and Triathletes to help prevent injury and recurrent injury problems. Video movement analysis is used to show clients exactly how the problem is caused and how it can be corrected.

The City is our largest clinic and as well as Physiotherapy and Sports Massage we also provide, Deep tissue and Lympathic drainage massage, Podiatry Chiropody, Orthotics,and Pilates mat work and Reformer.

Our therapists come from diverse backgrounds, many having been involved in treating Elite Athletes across various sports including, Olympic Swimmers, Divers, Athletes, Tri-Athletes, Basketball Players and Gymnasts as well as professional Cricket, Rugby, Hockey, Football Teams. Whilst other therapists have come from a background in the Performing Arts both as performers and therapists and we work with professional dancers, musicians and Actors.

Many of our therapists have competed themselves at National and International Level Sport, including competitors at the World Triathlon, Iron man and Comrades Races, so we understand the demands of an athletes body, as well as the overworked office worker with back and neck pain.

Physio in the City was established in 1990 by Chartered Physiotherapist Jill Dean ( nee Hendry ) and has been providing high quality physiotherapy and Complementary Care services in our clinics around London since then.
